The role:
As the Full time Nanny you will be responsible for caring for two children aged 6 years(G) and 3years(B). Sole charge of the children 50 hours per week. Approximate hours are 8am - 6.30pm - Mon - Wed; 8am - 7.30pm Thurs; 8am - 5.30pm Fri.
Part of the role is to stimulate and encourage the children's emotional, intellectual, physical and social development.
While the main priority is the care and the well being of the children, you must also undertake some household chores and responsibilities relating to the children’s daily lives.
 
Responsibilities:
Getting children ready for the day; washed, dressed etc.
Taking the older child to and from school
Children’s laundry and ironing
Maintaining children’s bedrooms, play areas and kitchen area
Taking the children to additional activities in the afternoons – music classes, sports etc.
Providing a structured evnvironment for the 3 year old every morning ie; learning colours, numbers etc and bringing him swimming and to toddler groups in the area.

Preparation of all meals – healthy & nutritious varied dinners
Organising  “play dates” with children’s friends
Bringing the children on outings – park, zoo, adventure centres, museums
On their return home from school children’s home work to be completed
Providing arts & crafts and educational activities for the children – fully equipped art box should be in the family home at all times.
Organising doctor, dentist appointments, hair cuts etc
Organising uniforms, school books, any new clothes required etc.
 
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years Full time experience working as a Nanny, Childcare worker or Montessori Teacher
Childcare Qualifications – FETAC Level 5 or 6; Or Montessori Teaching Qualifications – FETAC Level 5 or 6 or equivalent
If no Childcare qualification is held then 4 -5 years experience in Professional Childcare is essential.
Ability to multi task and manage work time efficiently.
Full drivers licence is essential plus car owner.
First Aid Cert is preferable
